About
The Authors
In 1986, Dan
Caramanico and Marie Maguire founded Caramanico Maguire Associates,
Inc. with the goal of facilitating dramatic financial success
in organizations by optimizing their selling function. As sales
force development experts, they have helped hundreds of companies
and thousands of salespeople improve their sales management systems
and selling processes to get ever-increasing results with less
effort and energy. Together they have nearly 50 years of experience
and bring a unique perspective to sales consulting.
Dan has three
engineering degrees and an MBA from the Wharton School of the
University of Pennsylvania. He began his career as a design engineer
and moved into the management of very large projects. He quickly
learned that his success and advancement depended more on his
ability to sell than technical expertise. After honing his selling
skills for more than a decade, he was ready to join Marie in helping
advance the sales profession.
Marie has
two engineering degrees and after designing computer chips for
IBM and teaching engineering at Temple University, she obtained
a Master's degree in clinical social work form Bryn Mawr College.
She spent more than a decade helping individuals and couples achieve
optimal family functioning. This book and their company are the
result of their combined technical, managerial, and clinical backgrounds
as well as decades of experience in helping individuals and companies
overcome barriers to success.
